i’ve never considered myself a professional photographer, but when i picked up a camera or the first time i knew it was something amazing to have and that is an amazing skill to learn. to take a picture of a subject reminds me of making the intangible, like an idea and identity, tangible. what i’ve found is that the photograph is not quite the same as in real life—you can only try to communicate the essence of it. though i don’t pursue photography professionally, i want to showcase this work here to reveal and essential part of my way of attempting to understand how to communicate an idea into something you can hold in your eyes.

i hope you’ll enjoy.
